What Mark O'Travel does well
Mark O'Travel has been on the App Store since 2014, added iOS 26 support in December 2025, and is still updated. It uses one-time purchases rather than a subscription: Traveler Pro is $9.99 and most regional maps are about $0.99.
It goes beyond countries: visits with dates, transport, photos and comments, the complete US map and many national regional maps, photo import for countries and provinces, 3,000+ national parks, World Heritage sites, widgets, and sync through iCloud, Dropbox or files. It also runs on iPad and Android and has a German interface. It does not track cities — its FAQ points to a separate app for that.

Voyy tracks cities and logs flights for free: add a flight by number and Voyy fills in the route, then tracks your airports, airlines, distance and airtime.
